Bristol Valley Theater, a professional summer theater for over 50 years, is accepting resumes for Interns for our 2022 summer season. We are located in upstate New York, an hour south of Rochester, in the scenic Finger Lakes Region.
The 2022 summer season, running June 16 – September 4, includes Heartbeat of America: The Classics of Country, Cowboy Vs Samurai, Once, The Book Club Play, It’s a Small World (World Premiere), and Amy and the Orphans.
Internships are offered in Stage Management, Costume/Wardrobe, Carpentry, Electrics, Props/Scenic Painting, and Arts Administration/Marketing,
Intern contracts run from 6/4 – 8/27, with possible extension of some contracts through 9/4. Interns receive a weekly stipend of $200. Housing is provided at no cost.
Interns will work closely alongside experienced professionals drawn from New York City and around the country, making this an excellent networking opportunity as well as a chance to gain hands on experience.This is a fast paced, high energy environment that requires stamina, dedication, adaptability, a positive attitude, and teamwork. Bristol Valley Theater prides itself on creating strong and positive ensemble environment for all staff.
Ideal candidates are college students/recent graduates with training/previous experience (professional or academic) in their area of application.
Own car preferred, but not required. Proof of COVID 19 is required.
